…
Also at Connecticon, I picked up book one of Garanos, which is drawn and written by Alex Heberling. Cool person! She’s finished writing Garanos and now has a comic called Alex’s Guide. Go check them out!
I’m almost out of Connecticon stories, but there are a couple of other books that picked up, and I’ll give them a post, as well. It seemed so long ago, already, even though it just ended barely less than eight days ago.
I don’t know what next year will be like. Will I get a table for Slumpy? Will I execute any of the brilliant costume ideas that I seem to have right after a con? Will I be living in Connecticut? Will I have given up on this dirty, dirty habit called Having A Webcomic?
I’ve no idea. I’m gonna scram before I say something else stupid. See you tomorrow, dears.

Hi folks!
Another tale from the ‘con…: While I was at Connecticon, I met Shelli Paroline, who is one of the artists who contributed to the awesome Star Wars fanbook Harvest Is When I Need You the Most. I bought all three issues of that, and I was about to leave her booth, when I noticed an awesome MST3K drawing that she had done. I bought a print of that, and we geeked out about MST3K for a bit.
You should totally go check out Shelli’s other work over at http://www.foolproofart.com, and buy her stuff, too.
I really love her art style. The other artists who contributed to Harvest Is When I Need You the Most (and its sequels) are pretty full of win, as well. Harvest is a wonderful project, and I hope that something else comes from this collective group of awesome.
In other news: For those that have asked, Dad has gotten through his surgery, and is healing. Thanks for all your kind wishes!
Be well, dears…

Hi folks. No time for a real post today, sorry.

Also at Connecticon, I got to meet Matt Melvin, who is one of the guys who does Cyanide and Happiness. I picked up his book, and had him sign it for me.
I didn’t geek out too much, and I didn’t even go and tell him that I have a webcomic. I just didn’t feel comfortable. (I only told a couple people that I met about the comic, actually.)
He was nice, though. When I first saw that C&H were there, I said to him, “Are you here all weekend? Because I love you guys, but I gotta run,” and I ran away. (I was off to meet a friend.)
Later, I was able to go back to his table and I said “Now I can not be a spaz and buy a book like a normal person.” Matt signed the book, “To [Drosh], for non-spaziness”. 🙂
More tomorrow, dears.
